Very much looking forward to the gathering. Made our Reservations @ the Microtel. If you are planning on driving up from Central Florida on Friday the 25th, We're hoping to coordinate everyone that is, to meet at a single point just north of Interstate 10, on Interstate 75. The idea is to get as many of the Florida smarts together that morning to drive the majority of the way in a caravan. What a spectacle. Interested? Contact me.

Looking forward to the meet. Made reservations at The Microtel Inn in RObbinsville for 25-27 Sep. We have a time share in Gatlinburg at Tree Tops each May and have been going to the area for 15 years. Love the area and enjoy the Dragon on our bikes - now we will break in the smart!! We are coming from Black, AL just above the FL border - should be a nice LONG Trip in the little car. See Ya' There.

Sorry I can't make it. (Too far away) I rode this legendary road a few years ago on a motorcycle while we were touring the U.S. in our motorhome. It's fabulous. Be prepared to use your paddle shifters if you want to make any kind of time. And be sure to bring your camera along - there are some outstanding views. Check their website http://www.tailofthedragon.com/index.html and don't miss the Tree of Shame that's festooned with bike parts from riders who got bit by the dragon. A note to the organizer(s): Contact the folks at killboy.com and let them know when you'll be there. They specialize in photography of those riding the Tail.
