Hello Smartster,

The NYPD was Badged by Smart in Utrecht (Holland) for promoting everything is possible,
When you buy a 451 car in Holland you get FREE full BADGED Smart Bodypanel Transforming

So you load up your favorite pic and the send it do the badge company who makes you own Xclusive Smartcar.

Wow. www.ontwerpjesmart.nl is neat. My favorites are Herfst, Rusty and Shapenvacht. Hopefully some U.S. entrepreneur will see this and offer something like that here. Or perhaps the people who make these in the Netherlands will start to sell them here.

damn, that's cool! wish i could have that done to my smart! but my dealer was a blood thirsty shark! my dad talked them out of a couple of nice 3D "Loeber" decals they put on their new cars, they are cool, i will post a pic soon, i sold my old benz an hour ago, will park my smart at "home" today!

Funny to see my country on this forum :-) Unfortunately the smart sells not so good in Holland, so they are no trying to boost it with the sticker promotion.

yeah, too bad they're hot in america, got 1+ year wating list, everyone i talk to wants one, then they frown when i say put up $99 and get ready to wait a year! i'd have done a chicago PD wrap for giggles!

Cool to see a discussion about my car!
I work for smart in the Netherlands and I did this just to make people look at the new fortwo.
But it's not unthinkable for the NYPD to use smarts I think...
