The first time I heard it, I laughed out loud!! Definitely once my car is in the driveway, I'm changing it. Anyone else out there already change it? And where did you go? Is this something you can do yourself? Thanks!

I installed the WOLO BadBoy (dual-toned, single-unit air horn) a couple of weekend ago. Took about 45 minutes (I could probably do it quicker now that I have had a bit of practice removing the side-skirt and front end). Got the horn for $39. Well worth the time and effort.

Gary- I just ordered the same horn. Now I'm scared to take my car apart to install it. Can you give me some pointers? Thanks!

OK... maybe it's because I've just watched another episode of TopGear Australia, and decided they should have a "how relevant is this?" segment.

After four weeks and 3,000 km (2,000 miles) in my smart, I haven't had need to use the horn once. In fact I don't have a clue what it sounds like. Does it really matter?

Adding an air whistle to warn deer in the US or kangaroos in Australia; that I could understand the need for. Motorists who get in the way these days are most probably tuned into an iPod or cell phone and nothing short of a tornado warning siren will get their attention.

Apologies to horn lovers everywhere.

I have been a motorcycle rider for over 25 years and have found that a loud horn comes very handy. The upgrade is one of the first things I do on a new cycle. Several times a week a quick blast keeps a car from attempting to use my lane while I am still in it. Would not be with out a very loud set of aftermarket horns on the cycle and expect the same advantage with the Smart.

I will love to add a air horn. Sound like a British MG.

This would be nice to do the MG horn.

Hello! Here is a link to the horn I ordered. There are DIY pictures and you will pay $51.00 with shipping. There is also a you tube video of this horn.

Having a dual airhorn on my little smartcar has been great. I think that the cost per use is definitely down to pennies -- yup, I live in the big city of Toronto and there are some crazy-a-- drivers out there. I've had more than a few people say "sorry, I didn't see you". :( Well, they certainly heard me that's for sure. LOL. Next will be fog lights -- but only once the weather warms up.

PS. I purchased my WOLO Bad Boy Dual Airhorn off eBay for less than $50 (including shipping) and it was worth every cent!!
