When you go to your grocery store or Home Center, Park all the way back & backwards between two SuV's and sit there. The looks you get as another SUV starts to pull in is halarious. You have to try it.
I always park my smart is such a way that the tail end of the car is at the same level as the other cars. This leaves a lot of space in front of the car. It decreases the chances of a car getting in the space and hitting the car, thinking that the spot was available.

dood, i was the car trying to get that parking space today! it wasn't all that funny at the time, since i almost crushed it with my jeep, but i was able to take the space next to it. i'd never parked next to one before and hadn't really seen the size difference between what i'm driving and what i'm buying.
it's probably funny to watch, until your li'l car gets wrecked by an suv... a lesson for when i get one and park somewhere near giant suvs!
i usually park in backwards, towards the back of the space. my neighbors have told me they were going to pull into my spot, then see my smart staring at them when they try to park. i guess this happens at night. i am starting to park at the front of parking spaces to make my smart more visible in parking lots. (keepinig close to the front of the parking space)
I made an illegal U turn in front of a policeman. A little bit nasty police officer pulled me over, got my license and registration. When he came back, he asked me to get out, now I thought I was really in trouble, but he just wanted to ask questi...
