Might have to go to England to get one. They had them for many many years. I am looking for one also for a project.

We may just order a set of body panels and tube the chassis to fit so it looks like a smart but isn't.

We think we found one with light rear damage and a blown motor in Seattle. It is one of the gray market 450's. We are still negotiating the price but looks like we may score it for less than $2500.

The UK is awash with old smarts and possible to pick one up for a few hundred £pounds. Perhaps I should look into shipping a few over to the US??

That would be fantastic to bad the shipping cost would be way more than the car is worth at that point. I wonder how many you can fit in a shipping container?

My deal on one from Seattle didn't fly because they guy decided to up his price to a little over 4k.
