I de-badged my '09 and it looked too plain, even with the chrome grille (it is black/black), so I put a Mercedes logo where the smart logo is on the hood and one where the script was on the tailgate.
Use '09 SLK trunk badge for hood (perfect curvature) and '03 CLK trunk badge for tailgate.
ALL Benz stars are slightly curved in at least one way, sometimes 2 ways, so use these for a perfect fit.
I also got the euro-style 'fortwo' script from the pre-'08 smarts from a Canadian dealer for the lower left of the tailgate.

Photo please, now all you have to do is change the orange indicater lights for the chrome ones and look really clean.....

Removed 'smart' badge and script, added tri-stars, added 'fortwo' script from euro versions...what do you think?

I left my other smart stock ('FOR 2' plate)

Front star from a 2009 SLK300 deck lid and rear star from '03 CLK deck lid. NOTE: If you purchase the tri-stars, there is only ONE way it goes (out of a possible 3...single point up). You can identify top from bottom because there are numbers embossed on the back side...this MUST be @ bottom. The curvature of these tri-stars perfectly matches the smart hood and deck lid.
