That would be awsome Eddie if anybody else in South Florida would like to invade the Davie friday night car show with us in a couple of weeks send us a message so we can all organize and get together and make it happen

Hello Pete, that would be fun to invade the show, even if it's just the three of us at first, still would be fun.  I am not available over the next couple of Fridays to do it, but that might be an opportunity to dust off some of these inactive groups and see if anyone else wants to join us.  I would be interested in joining a South Florida Smart Group, not running it.  I run the Austin Smart Car group several years ago and although it was fun, I would much rather just join a group and offer assistance when I could.

I don't know anyone from the San Diego area Paul, but if I remember correctly, Southern California, Northern California, and (oddly enough) Wisconsin use to be the most active groups.  I am sure with a little bit of digging, you can stir up some of the more seasoned members to start up something again.

This is the Gay smarts, yes? Hence the Queer comment. It's my preferred identity.  Gay isn't inclusive and I've never been a fan of the alphabet soup (lgbtqqa...)

Hello!  I'm trying figure out ways to promote my new local smart social group here in San Diego.  In my search for other San Diegan Smarties, I stumbled across this group.  How very cool.  I should have thought to look for a Queer smarties group.  The group I'm starting isn't specifically for Queer smarties (though I am Queer).  If anyone knows of other smart owners in my area, please pass along the word. :) http://www.meetup.com/San-Diego-smarties

Hey  Eddie they have a car show every friday in Davie so when you are ready me and David are game wish we could get more cars so we could have a big group there let us know would be fun would you be interested in starting a club here in our area

Hello David Cantrell, I haven't been on here in forever, actually had to do a quick update, my profile still had me in San Antonio with my first smart!  I am now in Fort Lauderdale (Oakland Park) and yes, there is a serious lack of smart enthusiasm here in South Florida, especially for gay owners.  Nice to see a couple of other smarties on the road with me.  Perhaps we should raid a local car show sometime! :)

Finally i see that there's a GAY Smart Car Club..... Here in south Florida it's hard to find Smart Car Clubs in general, i've had mine for about 7 months and talked my partner of 17 yrs to trade his gas guzzling vette for a Smart,He loves it since he commutes from coral springs to miami daily.........So do we have a GAY SMART CAR CLUB in south florida????
