My 2008 Smart has gotten very good mileage since we got it last year (even when I drive it hard .. & we have big hills around the finger lakes). Last night I filled it & thought my computer was wrong, but at home I used another calculator ...52.4 mpg. Why don't the Germans capitalize on that ? - My wife & I are retired & love our Smart for two. We got it on ebay Jan 2011 with 12k miles. I now has 19k & I did not drive it last winter. Today I got 52.4 MPG. I can not understand why it is marked so badly. Just bought a new SUV but won't drive it this summer !
