Optima 34R Battery?
I am considering installing an Optima 34R battery in my 08 Passion before making the trip to the Nationals in July. I would appreciate anyone telling me if the installation requires any modifications and overall if they are satisfied with the performance of the Optima? I am hopeful that it will be a drop-in installation.See More

Glad to be of help! I'm sorry if this comment is in the wrong place! I am new to this site/figuring it out. I have been on the smartUSAinsider forum and been pretty busy on the smartcarofamerica forum. You might have even better luck at a better price on a battery from Costco or Sam's Club if you have a membership to one of those places, and even Walmart. (I just realized you're in Monrovia, and I go to the Walmart in Duarte a lot.) The group sizes I mention seem to be universal. (I can't believe how prices seem to have gone up on batteries. I haven't had to change one in a long time though. I buy a 1.5 amp Schumacher battery maintenainer from Walmart for $20 and it helps keep batteries happy...)
