Have you experienced any tight parking spots only a smart could get into?

Just wondering... my neighbors do this to me constantly. They will leave just enough room so only MY car could fit into the spot. :) I'll post a photo one of these days. I'm sure they think its a hoot. But it certainly challenges my parking skills. LOL. Anyone else take advantage of these TIGHT situations?

In both my buildings I have indoor parking spots that nobody else can fit into, which is great for driving the smart, but one day I was driving a different car and realised I had to park outside :(

Have you seen this photo of having 4 smarts inside one parking spot?

Oh yes, I saw this photo and thought is was great!!! You just got to love a small car that when people sit in it they call it "roomy!" LOL.

Don't I have great neighbors? Yes, it was me who squeezed in to that spot. I'm getting really good at this. I had about 5 inches infront and 5 inches in the back. :)

PS. Sorry, the photo was taken from a REALLY bad angle.

i got something like that two years ago at a "park 'n fly" lot. i avoid parrallel parking like the plague. i took off to vegas with my car out in the open next to a fence, when i came back it had a car on each side of it about 6" inches away, it took a few minutes of working it back and forth "pushing it" by foot with the door open and the attendant telling me when i got close to the car ahead or behind.

to me, the smart is funny, i can get close to something, and i'll think i'm close, and get out and find a few more feet to the object. it's only when i can see the reflection in another vehicle where i know i'm close to something.

i took the arial pics at tire rack, smartsters' smart has all the stickers on it. at the car show a few hours ago, i was talking to a few car nuts and brought up the "cannonball run" and they said it should be in the next issue of car & driver, telling them i might be in it, along with the other smarties. they got a kick out of it and will be looking for it!

WOW!!
Now I am patient, but I would have to be really desperate to attempt that . . .

we had a couple "spotters" helping us do this parking stunt. nobody wanted to mess up our new smarts. but we got within an inch of eachother (had to trust the spotters as well) smartster had it easy, he was the last one in, with his racing smart.

but it was fun! getting into the man-lift was maybe the best part, there was some wind and 6 people on it, it was swaying all over the place. i knew it wouldn't topple, but it was moving!

everyday... no off street parking so to get a good spot I parked my car as close as I could to the neighbors driveway then pulled my pontiac up to the bumper of my smart car... making the spot to small for other cars except mine :)

Spotted this one this morning. It's not meant to be a car space:

Nice find :)

I discovered today that I can cut diagonally across the work parking lot without having to go up and down the rows to get to my parking spot :o)

i did my first "ass to the curb" yesterday. it was a local radio concert event, it ended early. a hellatious storm rolled through the area and cleared everything out in 30 minutes. in the few minutes i was there, people oogled my smart, parked close and funny and i won an Elvis Costello double CD set with a trivia question (i chose '90's movies, some actor and john travolta, i have the DVD so it was not a problem, "broken arrow") wish i would have had my camera! in this part of bolingbrook, hybrids get 90 minutes free parking, my smartie prolly could have gotten away with that!
(the guy patrolling the area was an older gent, looked like R. Lee Ermy, i engaged him in a short chat and told him he looked like R. Lee, he never heard of him, but i told him he was a USMC drill instructor)
